Progressing from a FO or FOWLR to a reef tank isn't as complicated or difficult as it may seem. Doing the preparation before you introduce corals to your tank will greatly reduce the problems you may later incur as well as save you a lot of money and frustration.

sorry, some of my numbers ran together.. it was 10,000K not 100,000... that would be alot of light... over a 55gal tank.

my vote is yes.. if you want bright lighting, you must have pristinely clean water or you will get some growth daily on the glass. I spoke to an aquaintance
